Our Story

Brett Smith, founder of Tongue in Cheek Ice Cream, proudly served the City of Richardson for the past 25 years as a firefighter. Having a passion for cooking, food and service, Brett decided it was time to trade in his fire department helmet for an ice cream churn and serve in a different way.

He has focused on making the best flavors with the highest quality ingredients offering over 20 mouth watering flavors including 8 additional non- dairy flavors available. Most of our add-ins for our ice cream are made in house, giving you the best quality products.

We offer scoops in cups or in our homemade waffle cones. We also offer shakes with over a pint of ice cream in each one with any flavor of ice cream. It will be the best shake you have ever tasted!
